Excellent state of economic relations between Poland and Lithuania
On December 10, 2025, the Embassy of Poland in Vilnius hosted the 13th edition of the “Polish Business Awards,” organised together with the Polish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce. The event honoured Polish and Lithuanian companies that significantly contributed to strengthening trade and investment ties between the two countries.
Chargé d’Affaires Grzegorz Poznański highlighted the excellent state of economic relations between Poland and Lithuania, pointing to growing cooperation in transport infrastructure, energy market integration, modern technologies, and trade.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking Lithuanian officials, diplomats, and representatives of companies operating in both markets. The artistic part included performances by vocalist Monika Jodko and pianist Yana Serbina.
Awards were presented to:
PWPW S.A. – for long-term cooperation and supplying Lithuania with biometric passports and excise stamps.
Etanetas UAB – for pioneering fiber-optic Internet in Lithuania and contributing to IPTV development in Poland.
Advanced Protection Systems S.A. – for strengthening defence cooperation, including drone detection systems for Lithuania’s critical infrastructure.
Ignitis Group / Ignitis Renewables – for advancing renewable energy in Poland, including the 137 MW “Silesia II” wind farm.
Polish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce – special award for its 10-year role in improving bilateral economic relations.
